Army Green McLaren 720S Has 1,000 HP, Gets In A Minor Ruckus With Annoyed GMC Driver

Not only is the McLaren 720S one of the fastest production cars currently on sale but it is also one of the most eye-catching. However, that hasn’t stopped the owner of this particular 720S from sending it to the guys at RDB LA to get an intriguing wrap applied.

This 720S has been worked on by RDB LA on a number of occasions in the past and is now fitted with its fifth (!) wrap. Evidently, the owner’s tastes change quite frequently and they have the money to have a new wrap applied every time they want something different.

The latest one applied to the car is a shade of glossy army green that suits the look of the British supercar very nicely. However, it is not the color that makes this McLaren really stand out. Instead, it is the wild bodykit that combines parts from Vorsteiner, 1016 Industries, and Novitec to create a 720S unlike any other.

Complementing the exterior upgrades are a series of performance modifications that make the car an absolute animal. As standard, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 of the 720S pumps out 710 hp but this one now delivers 910 hp at the rear wheels. It sounds absolutely crazy and an argument could certainly be made that it’s almost too powerful to be used on public roads, particularly along the bumpy and crowded streets of Los Angeles where this clip was filmed.

At one stage during the filming (skip to around 7 min and 40 sec into the video), the driver of a white GMC Yukon tried to interrupt the filming, weaving across the road to separate the McLaren from the video car with some NSFW words thrown around. Thankfully, the light road rage incident did not escalate and the McLaren and GMC didn’t come together in what could have been a very expensive crash.
